Welcome to my personal Back to the Future Collection. The images contained within this page are all mine and as such have not been taken from anywhere else. If you want to see an image enlarged, then just click on the desired pictured (NOTE: They are quite big!). My collection is slowly increasing with a couple of items not included, such as my posters - I figured everybody knows what they look like, but also the one is over 10 years old and folded away so it doesn't fall apart! This is probably one of the first things that I owned related to Back to the Future. It's a poster magazine from Part II. It contains an interview with Michael J Fox,
Christopher Lloyd and Robert Zemeckis
as well as a synopsis of the Movie. The magazine opens out to display the art w ork poster of part II (This is over 10 years old and is about to fall apart so I don't keep it on a wall anymore) This is probably one of my most prize
possessions. At the time I got it from my local newsagents for £1.60 (GBP) - I don't know how much it is worth now (probably less because of its condition!)
During my school holidays at the age of 15, I got a job from which i bought the Back to the future Trilogy boxed set including the secrets of video. This was £40.00 (GBP) at the time, and about a weeks wages for me!!
Included in my collection is a couple of "Micro
Machine" alike cars of the DeLorean and the Police car of the Future, along
with the Texaco Station of 2015. I picked these up in a local Bric-a-Brac store
for a couple of quid (not sure exactly how much) and I know you can pick these
up from the BTTF.com catalog. Then
along came my trusty Laser Disc player so, naturally, I had to own the trilogy
on this format. At the time I thought that this was the way forward (My
god has it been that long) I bought these with the player and I still watch them
today because it saves wearing out my videos. The only drawb a ck on the laser
disc format is that you have to flip the discs half way through the movie. I
can't wait for the DVDs cos I'm just that lazy :)
One
of my favourites in my collection is my DeLorean! Not the real thing, but a
model that I ordered form BTTF.com. It is the model taken form part 2 (my
favourite) which can be either displayed in the hover converted mode or on all
four wheels. I'm quite proud of this model as I painted it and assembled it
myself.
Another
favourite of mine is my two BTTF annuals, again one form my local newsagents the
other off my best mate. They are both full of facts and info that I haven't seen
anywhere else, they are really informative and give a good insight to the world
of Back to the Future
When
my mom went to Universal Studios Florida,
(I was dead jealous!!) I told her to bring back anything to do with Back to the
Future, and so she did! She brought back with her a cap and an OUTATIME license
plate which, in my opinion are pretty cool!!
Well
that's just about it (for now!). If you have a collection and you want it
displayed for all to see on this site, then drop
us a line
